Cooley or Hamline? RESULTS IN (Bottom Page 3)

I'm gonna attempt to keep this thread as down-to-business as possible, due to the prevalence of anti-TTT (especially Cooley) trolling.
A friend of mine is seriously considering attending either Cooley or Hamline. She's got it in her head that actually going to one of these schools and paying full-price (and no, she's not getting any scholarships with a 2.6/138) is a good investment. I've tried time and time again to dissuade her from wasting her time and money (I'm actually starting to worry about my advocacy skills, BTW). What the heck should I tell her?
Maybe I should just shrug it off? Nah, she's been a friend for a long time, and I'm really worried because I just don't think she knows what she's getting into. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble convincing her this would be unwise.
Or am I wrong?

She won't. She'll be like, "Cool girl, whatever," and then just go on along doing her thing. I'm not even sure she'd get in with her stats, but if she does, she's going to literally screw up the next few decades for herself.

Two options.
1. Tell her she's being fucking stupid. Guide her to TLS or hand her employment statistics if you like. Let that fall out as it may.
2. Or just tell her to make her own damn decision. Let that fall out as it may.
In any case you should accept the very high possibility that she is going to make a poor decision. You need to learn to live with that.

It can (though I'm hoping you're right, retard). She heard about this interview thing where if your numbers aren't up to par, you can show up and talk them, and be judged on your speaking skills, hygiene (?), etc. I'm not really sure what all that is about.

the first step should be finding new friends who have more than 1 digit in their IQ score

Proof that you've never actually given law school advice. If you had, you would know.

You strongly implied she already got it. I was calling shenanigans.

LSP shows a 2.6/138 as a Deny (<5% likelihood) at every single school except Pontifical Catholic in Puerto Rico, and that's a 30% (Weak Consider). You may not have to help her decide at all.
BTW, your friend's logical thinking skills are probably more at fault here than your advocacy skills. You can't convince someone of anything if they aren't capable of comprehending your argument. It's like trying to explain tides to Bill O'Reilly.

There are just some people who will refuse to listen to any rational advice and decide to go anyway. You should show her the attrition rates at these school (I believe Cooley is 1/3 after 1L) and just how much money it takes per month to pay off a loan worth 50k if she fails to make it to the 2nd year.

Why does your friend want to go to law school?

I don't know exactly. She seems to think she'd make a good lawyer, and thinks they all become millionaires, despite my advice to the contrary. Sometimes I think she's just trying to copy me or something. This whole law school obsession just crept up within the past year or so.
