lsac and how they calculate degree rank for intl. students?

i was just wondering what method lsac uses in order to rank our degrees, do they simply add each year up and divide it by 3 or 4 and then use the mean? or is it some other method.

no my first post, was actually on whether my uni will take my first year grades. My second on whether lsac, and this one, is on how lsac will calculate my grade. I think they are three separate questions.
