So, if you apply binding ED to a school, and then get WL'd,if you wanted to go ahead and put down a deposit to another school (just in case), would that automatically blacklist you?

I belive you can do that. I think once they make a decision to your ED application you are only obligated to go there or no where if they accept you ED.

Since you were WL then I believe you can go to another school. If you were offered acceptances at other schools with money- i would go there ( and withdraw your application from the school) b/c you will be paying full sticker at the ED school. Unless of course you are willing to go at sticker- then ride the WL train- but keep your options open.
