I have been accepted in the USMC JAG Program so I will not be in private practice for atleast 8 years after law. I live in New York and have worked in DC so maybe one of those places.

Then American. If debt is an issue and American can't help you out, Syracuse.

I don't think so. With 8 years of JAG experience IDK if it will really matter where the OP went to school. I think going to the cheapest place would be the best.

A lot of good options, it all depends on where you want to live. If I were you, I'd choose Miami if you like South Florida, FSU if you like North Florida, or Ohio State if you like Ohio.

If he wants to get the best job possible after he's finished, it will be much easier if he is in a place with a strong alumni base. Otherwise, any networking he does in LS will be pretty much useless. It may not as critical for him with this particular type of work experience, but why shouldn't he take advantage of every opportunity he can? Also, Syracuse is where he has the most money so far, so why wouldn't that be very close to the top of the list?
