Fordham is ranked 30th in TLS' Law School Rankings, yet it seems to harbor the same level of pre-2010 employment prospects (as reported on NALP) as many T-14 law schools.

No. And it doesnt really have anywhere near the same employment prospects. That said, it does have a decent amount of prestige. Probably more than TLS or US News gives it IMO. Its every bit as good as schools that are ranked around #20.

T14's have the prestige of a T14 school.

Fordham is not on the level of T 14 but for NYC big law it is probably one of the best options outside of T14 and I would rather take my chances at Fordham than live like a cave troll in Ithaca.... Let the people on here flame me but know OP that Fordham will beat out all of the #28s, #27, #26, all of #22s, #21, #20, #18 and both #15s at NYC Big Law. NYC big law likes to take it in the back door from Fordham. To all who say otherwise they are just wrong and probably ugly.

Translation: Fordham (a regional school) does better in NYC than other regional schools that are in different regions.

Answer to the OP question: No. It has the prestige of a regional tier 1 school with little to no respect outside of NYC.
