Selected for Alternate Admissions UMiami

As the title says, I got selected as an alternate for admissions for the University of Miami (I was already on a waitlist). What are the realistic chances I get off this and are actually accepted? Does anyone how many people they tend to keep on this secondary wait list?

Thanks

My best guess is that you should prepare to start law school this Fall at Miami.

P.S. Sounds as if you are on a "preferred" or "priority" waitlist & not on a "secondary" waitlist.

I'm also on this list. There are quite a few of us.

What's this? A thread about Miami that isn't overtaken by people telling you to retake, that Miami is a waste of time/money/etc...

Is this TLS?

Don't worry, I'm sure those people will find this thread soon and the Miami bashing will begin once again.

Hey I'm not here to bash Miami. But I am here to say regardless of anything, you should keep your debt down.

Ah ha! I knew there was a UM thread that had escaped the TLS floodlights...

My advice would be for three of you to get together and form a package deal that Miami would be unable to turn down.

Also, make sure to screw over any family and friends back home before you leave. You don't want any distractions when you take your talents to South Beach.
