I did not see anybody doing a wait-list thread for U Penn, so i want to do one.

it would be good to get an estimate of the possible number of people on the WL and how many actually want to stay on the WL. and would be good to get some info from people who actually got off of the wait list and what they did to get a seat. any advise regarding how to improve chance of getting off the WL would be appreciated as well.

please dont hesitate to contribute any way possible to this thread... thanks much in advance...

Have u done any of the updates, essay, etc. They let u do?

Just got wait listed on Friday 2/18. My app was under committee review for only three days. Does that mean anything that they were so quick to wait list me? I plan on sending another essay and LOR. My question is how should I approach the response to stay on the wait list? should it be a brief 3 sentence email or more of an essay response?
