Assuming little to no debt, I want to stay in the region and UConn is the best school I got accepted to. Would matriculating be worth it?

If you want to work in Connecticut, then yeah.

"For the 2009-2010 academic year, the in-state tuition rate was $20,500, while out of state tuition was $42,200" (From the TLS UConn profile).

In-state, maybe. Out-state, NO.

Is UConn the best you can do? Can you retake? In this era of "we will use your highest LSAT" one basically has 3 LSAT bullets to hit the target. Why don't you exhaust all your ammo before negotiating?

If you want to work in CT, why would you want to go anywhere else?

He said assuming little to no debt. I'm guessing scholarship? Maybe his parents are financing him though...

I'd say do it unless you have another career path available with similar or better payment compared to law.
