Legacy applicant
A bit of a curiosity, but how do you think being a legacy changed your application cycle at any given school? In particular, which schools are legacy friendly, and which are sort of "meh" to the whole event. Of course, this probably changes drastically if you have a dad who can drop ten grand on the library in addition to your tuition, but I'm looking more for which schools just seem to support legacy candidates and which don't give a damn either way.

Do you have any immediate family legacy at a certain law school? What school? If your parents are loaded and donate a ton of money or Grandpa has a building named after him, it makes a big difference and your numbers are really unimportant. If your grandfather is the founding partner of a large mid-sized firm with a strong connection to the school and the ability to donate and recruit at the school, it matters a lot.
Otherwise, no one will care that your aunt Jenny graduated from the LS a decade ago.
