Retake does wonders. 169 in December.
Nope, still below 170. Retake.

Although I share your annoyance, I can't agree with that statement.
So you'd rather be a Harvard Law grad doing personal injury than a Brooklyn grad doing M&A? Where you end up is everything. Where you went is just positioning.
of course the endpoint is what matters. What I took your statement to mean, however, was that where one went to school wouldn't make any difference w/r/t where they wind up. That I disagree with. An HLS kid will, on average, have an easier time getting an M and A job than his Brooklyn counterpart. Legal profession is elitist, simple as that.

Now that I completely and totally agree with. Your entry-level job counts for a ridiculous amount in law. And how you get that job, for better or worse, is often heavily dependent on where you went to law school.

I just don't see any reason to rip any of those below you. It just comes off as insecure. And not to mention that, being a Michigander, I've met plenty of successful Cooley law grads. Now granted, those might be a fraction of the total, but it's still not like they're forever sentenced to mediocrity. Big law success? Probably not. But anyone who knows business knows that you ultimately make the most money through sole proprietorship...

I don't either. Cooley joking is one of the most tiresome features of this forum.

In all fairness, those of us who have been around for a while can't begrudge new generations of TLSers their opportunity to laugh at Cooley, but yeah, you need to make it funnier. The September 09 LSAT waiting thread had some really great Cooley PSs.

Out of curiosity, does Candy Kallen still blow up everyone's inboxes with phat University of Phoenix schollys?

I don't know what's worse on this forum: Cooley ripping or lolcats.

True. But once this danquayle guy lost his shit, it got a whole lot better.
