Is there much of a difference between applying now for law school as opposed to a jan 7th?

Either way, is it worth still applying now?

There's a difference but how much it will affect you depends on the school, their app deadline, class size, your numbers & how they stack up against that schools profile.

Yes, if you want to go to law school this fall.

Some schools might have already given out their scholarship funds though. Others may be harder to get into because they already have some seat deposits in.

I applied to most schools in Feb last year, and I got good results at a lot of places. I was a splitter though, and my cycle would probably have been a whole lot better had a applied far earlier. Happy with the results though.

Better to not apply and go look for an entry-level job. Try accounting.

Ignore this clown...accounting is not the way to go for 99% of the population. Big4 passes itself off as a big time selling point to employers later, which it is, if you want to be an accountant. This isn't even an option if you don't have an acct. UG degree.

So true.

Back to the topic, no, it is not, at least at most schools. If you are looking to reach schools, it may be too late, but you should be fine at the others.

Most schools have an application deadline of February 1st. Today is January 17th.

You're pretty late. Make sure you have your everything in order and submitted to LSAC or else those could hold up your application even further.

Its not too late...I would research some schools that waive fees; as well as apply to 2 or 3 schools you really want to go to. Have about $300 to spear?

It's never too late to apply to law school, however it would be smarter if you applied next cycle.
