I'll be applying twenty years after getting my bachelor's. I think my LSAC-calculated UGPA will be around 2.62. It was a challenging engineering degree, but that's still no excuse. I carried a 3.85 in my Physics Master's (degree awarded in 2009), so fortunately there will be some evidence of more-recent high academic performance, but I don't know how to address my UPGA to the adcomms, if at all.

I don't have anything that would explain away my UGPA, so I don't know if it warrants an addendum. Also, I think I can adequately address it with a paragraph or two in my personal statement.

So which avenue would be appropriate in a case like this?

The conventional wisdom is to focus on positive things in your PS and leave things like this for an addendum.

Thanks. Along the same lines, there are any number of LSAT prep books/courses/materials, but are there any highly-regarded books on writing personal statements, addenda, and things like that?
