Top Law Schools

I know there have been all kinds of warnings about going to lower tiered schools. In fact, there have been a lot of warnings about attending even a moderately tiered school. However, this NY Times article is very disturbing. I encourage all of you to read it and to read over the blog cited in the article. It might be a little more doomsday than I would have liked, but it does make some very valid points.

I am sure many of you think that you are that special flower that will outshine the statistics. My son certainly feels this way despite my arguments.

So it's not just about lower ranked schools.

I read this article this morning in the paper. It is a very comprehensive article, covering just about all of the major gripes that we hear about on TLS regarding the law school scam. Really liked it.

EDIT: Its a super quick, free sign up. I'm not print journalist or anything, so I don't have a reason to promote this, but I thought it summed up all of the negativity on TLS perfectly.

2. the thread has discovered that the nyt got it wrong; he went to columbia for ugrad, then University of Florida for law school.
