10 point LSAT increase- worth an addendum?

I scored a 160 on the Oct. LSAT and a 170 this December. I already sent in all of my applications before seeing the drastic score increase. I was averaging around a 165 before the Oct. test, but I think the low score was mostly due to anxiety and the fact that I took the test on a visit home to the US after living abroad for over a year. I had a lot going on during the visit, and didn't give myself sufficient time to prep. The second time around I look the test where I am living abroad after much more intensive study.

Should I send a short note via email raising attention to the new score and explaining that the second is more indicative of my potential... or is just too fake of an explanation. It's such a big difference, I'm hesitant not to say anything...

Any thoughts would be seriously seriously appreciated!
Thanks!

I would check with each school. I think some schools indicate they like explanation for anything over 7 or 8 point jump, but other schools probably couldn't care less as long as they have the current score info.

I don't think the explanation could hurt you as long as it's brief.
