LSAT Addendum - 164 to a 169

Does anyone have any experience writing addendums for LSAT scores. In October I scored a 164 - significantly lower then where I had been scoring on practice tests. I just got my December scores and I got a 169 which I believe is MUCH more indicative of my actual abilities. I know my lower October score was due almost entirely to nerves, which in my mind is a significant contributer to deflated scores - but I'm not sure an admissions counselor would feel the same way or maybe it would come off as an inability to control my nerves. Who knows... Anyway, anyone have an effective strategy in writing an addendum for an lsat discrepancy?

I wouldn't write an addendum unless the schools asks students to explain differences of more than X points as some schools do in their applications. Your new score speaks for itself. It's not like you had a 10 point jump.
