January Applicants 2011
Is there anyone out there who has/will be sending all of their applications in January? I feel like I'm the only one

Re: January Applicants 2011
Sent my first application today (target school), completing four more this weekend to submit by Monday afternoon. The four this weekend are all reach schools, as I am right around the medians for their LSAT and GPAs, but being a white male without great softs puts me at a disadvantage even where I have the median numbers.

I didn't think I'd be applying this year but my December scores are much higher than I expected. Everything is ready to go except my personal statement, which I'm putting the finishing touches on. But I still have to have proofread and have others read it, etc etc. I'm soo frustrated. This sucks.

Despite the tendency of some posters to be an asshole about everything you post, many TLS users are willing to read and critique your personal statement if you post it. I received some really good feedback from the posters here.voltage88 wrote:I didn't think I'd be applying this year but my December scores are much higher than I expected. The applications I sent in early January did fine (as expected). Closer to the deadlines was bad news though.emmbar53 wrote:Applied to 9 schools today...January apps can still reap fruits...I hope.

I hope so. I was thinking about asking people on here to read through my PS. If anyone wants to, let me know!Pricer wrote:Despite the tendency of some posters to be an asshole about everything you post, many TLS users are willing to read and critique your personal statement if you post it.
