Top Law Schools

I would like to write an addendum for my LSAT. Applying to top 20 schools and my score is below median at all. I don't want to make it sound like I'm complaining too much but just giving them facts and letting them decide. Is this appropriate?

"As reiterated in my personal statement, I received two brain surgeries on September 1st and September 3rd. The surgeon warned that my testing skills would be temporarily affected, but I decided to take the LSAT this year so that I can attend law school in 2011. As a result, I do not believe my LSAT score is an accurate indicator of my ability to succeed in law school."

Your test taking skills would be affected permanently? Wouldn't this affect your ability to take exams in law school?

I wouldn't use this addendum.

Oh, not permanently but for like a year. Does it make it okay if I say "temporarily"?

That's an important distinction, be sure to include it in your addendum.
