Address Valid Until?

When it asks for a range on the application, what do I put there? It is my permanent address, and is the same place I have always lived at (I have been commuting for undergrad).
I know it may sound like a stupid question, but I am confused by it.

Put your permanent address - right up until the time you plan to go to law school.

One application asks for a range. What do I put as the starting date? My birthday?

Now until you plan to leave for law school.
