W&L email - decision mailed later today

Wash and Lee just emailed me to say a decision will be made by 5pm. Why can't they just email me when they send the decision!! This is cruel - now i'll be refreshing the application status update a hundred times today.
Anyone else get a letter?
I'm on the 25 end of the LSAT with low GPA but great softs and 5 years WE. I'm think maybe a WL or Admit sticker. Applied 12/25

The day I got that email, I received my decision around 3. I'm sure it won't be as late as 5pm, if that helps. I was admitted with a GPA at the lower end and a 75th LSAT.

Got the same email a few weeks ago, and got the status changed at around 3PM CST. I was rejected, but below GPA/LSAT 25th so no surprise.

Got the decision-by-five email around noon, accepted as of a few minutes ago.
ETA: 169/3.68, applied 12/21 with a Why W&L paragraph and the optional ethical dilemma essay.

WL Today with 170 2.7, did everyone write a why W and L? I didn't. Would be nice to get accepted to a higher ranked school like W and L, but I want to live in a city, so I am not necessarily gun ho about going to W and L, Illinois, and Indiana. But as of right now, it doesn't matter, because they are not gun ho about me.

Rejected with 160/3.0 Business school GPA.
Total reach school, not surprised - was hoping for WaitList
