Send LSAC Updated Transcript Without Updated GPA?

I'm planning on sending in a transcript with my most recent grades to LSAC. Apparently, I can send it today (with the most recent grades, but without an updated GPA), or wait 2-3 weeks and have the transcript fully "updated" (with a new GPA authorized by the registrar's office). Do LSAC or the schools care? I'm guessing that LSAC ignores school generated GPA's and just enters letter grades, but I really have no idea.
