Undergrad question

I am sure this was asked sometime before but what are the tiers for undergrads?
I know HYPS, but I've seen Top 3 Public or Tier 3 Public, what does all of this mean?

Don't worry about it. None of those distinctions matter for law school. It's almost entirely GPA and LSAT. I am at a toilet myself and I'm going to a better law school than my Ivy friends.
