I'm not sure if this post belongs here or if it's been answered in other threads (already searched).

What is a BigLaw office like? Is it a cubicle...or a decent sized room? Just curious.

This will greatly impact my decision to attend law school (it is the deciding factor) :D

oh dear.

Probably depends on the firm, either way if this is the deciding factor I fear for your legal future. Now quit yer trollin'.

You're making one of the biggest decisions of your life based off whether your office would be a cubicle or not? If you aren't a flame this is one of the funniest yet saddest things I've seen on TLS.

After reading through the forums, the general conclusion stands as a LOT of time is spent in the office. Therefore, the desks and chairs should be nice. That's all.

Where I work has ~25 lawyers. Dunno if that really qualifies for "Big Law" on here. No cubicles.

I made my decision based on the chance of a window-view cubicle.

haha. I had never seen a biglaw office until my callbacks. dear god. especially the ones in new york. i stood in front of the windows in the reception/ lobby areas like a little fucking baby, just staring out the windows. it was glorious. some better than others. two in NYC had bathrooms like hidden in the walls -- like the secretary told me to "push on the wall." haha. even the junior associates' offices have epic views.

Now that is truly incredible! Also, was the secretary hot?

No. But you treat them like royalty.

+1, every time I watch 30 Rock I think of how awesome it would be to have a hidden bathroom.

Depends on the firm, but i'm pretty sure you could bring in your own chair if necessary, and the chair is the most important part of being comfortable in an office anyways. Invest in a good one, you won't regret it.

Yah, that one doesn't seem like it is going to be much help if you want to work in your office and not sleep. Also, the fire engine red is likely going to clash with the decor.

I know you are just trying to be funny, but you are not succeeding. Give up now.
