UGPA in relation to retaken failed courses?

I have a couple classes that I took in my undergraduate studies that I failed. But I retook those classes and made A's. I'm just wondering if those failed grades will be held against me or not. Where I attended they would replace the failed grade if the course was retaken and therefore never effect your GPA negatively. I'm just curious, will law schools not count the F if i retook the course and made a passing grade?

both will count if both are on your transcript (which i imagine them to be)
lol im really hoping this thread doesnt degrade into an argument about how unfair that LSAC policy is, etc. we have like 3 of those a month

They don't let you go to law school if you've ever failed a course. Sorry Bud.

What about if the courses were pre-req courses that actually were not college credited courses. They only counted as courses that allowed you to get into for example, a credited math course that actually mattered in relation to graduation.

What school are you going to where there are courses you don't get credit for?

At the school I went to you take a placement test. I didnt do that well on it and had to take remedial math courses that had credit but not towards graduation. If you passed the course you moved up to a credited math course that fulfilled the college's core requirement. The school happens to be FSU.

I'm almost positive it'll count. I had community college credit taken in high school that had absolutely nothing to do with progressing towards a degree, and it counted. (Luckily for me, it was 12 credits of As.) Yours was actually taken at your undergrad institution during your UG time, so I'm sure it'll count. Sorry.
