I also solicited one from UVA OOS with both numbers below medians.. so yay selectivity ratings.. but I'm okay with sending $12 to know for sure that I'm inadequate!

Edit: awesome job OP.. this thread is very helpful to those of us trying to keep costs low

Does an applicants URM status generate fee waivers as well as December LSAT score?

Hidden fee waiver from University of Chicago today. It had to be in the last few hours, it wasn't there when I checked this morning.

If others have already gotten CRS waivers from a particular school, is that school done for the December administration?

Just letting those know George Mason offers a fee app to everyone. No waiver needed. I stumbled across this on their website.

Email Villanova with your LSAC # and you get a waiver. I tried the same w/ Maryland, but they wanted me to submit a bunch of information first, and I fear this will only delay my app.

Also: Case Western and Catholic are free if you submit via LSAC.

Is it automatic on LSAC? Or do you need to email/call? I couldn't find it on the site.

Minnesota has a fee waiver form. After receiving a solicitation to apply, I replied back asking for a waiver. They sent me a waiver form to be filled out (within 5 minutes of my reply). The waiver asks you to indicate income before taxes, amount of money in bank, and in investments. I'm not sure how liberal they are in granting these waivers. The rep told me to submit my app electronically and then submit the waiver and certification via physical mail.

If you email Uconn, they will send a waiver.

wow, i emailed pepperdine for a fee waiver and they just gave me that generic message response ("heres a link to the fee waiver form")

I was additionally told that they dont do merit based waivers. The posts here say otherwise. Maybe my numbers just suck 3.2/162

I feel so dumb for waiting this long to ask, but how exactly do you apply for a fee waiver?

I believe you can email or call the the admissions office directly. Im just wondering whats the schools objective for granting them this late. Ive heard lots of negative theories, but Ive also heard that it may not totally be for the schools ranking strategy. Previous threads document that applying to such schools has yielded positive results in applicants that wouldnt have otherwise applied. Anyone have their own anecdotes? Thanks.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
