Cornell YP

Is Cornell known to yield protect? My numbers are slightly high for the school, but I could really see myself going there over higher ranking schools if the money was right.

+1, they aren't known for YP, you might want to write a "Why Cornell" just to be on the safe side though.whymeohgodno wrote:They YP yes. They aren't known for it though. You should know they are pretty stingy with money.
Really? That's too bad. I'm above both 75ths by a decent amount. Do they give out any large scholarships to people with high numbers? If not, i guess we know why their medians are below the rest of the top schools.whymeohgodno wrote:You should know they are pretty stingy with money.
YepYou should know they are pretty stingy with money.
Yeah, although I don't know if there's a pattern to this. The deferrals seemed to hit several people across the higher end of the spectrum. I was actually a shade above median GPA and way above median/75th% LSAT, but it's hard to gauge how much higher is "too high" since both are at 168.pppokerface wrote:From the Cornell Accepted thread, it seems like they YPed quite a bit...but that's just a sampling.
