Top Law Schools

171 / 3.8x with decent softs (master's degree in difficult field from a top school, very good recs, solid collegiate teaching experience in logic)

I'm thinking that it's worth stanford since their median lsat is a little lower, but is it even worth applying to yale and harvard? i'm leaning against applying to H since they seem to be much more numbers based than Y or S towards and I'm definitely below their medians, while I'm leaning towards applying to Yale as a significant reach despite being in a similar position #-wise because it seems to be a bit more of a crap-shoot.

Any thoughts?

Agreed. If you get into one then you will be very happy with the application, but if you don't then at least you tried. There's no point in having the "what if" questions. Unless you are really strapped for cash then I say go for it.

if you're doing YLS, id do HLS as well
