Too pushy/annoying?

Is it obnoxious to call admissions offices to ask when decisions are being made? I've been in review for over a month at my top choice, and I've been thinking about calling and asking when they think a decision might be made. I know we have status checkers and such, but I thought that maybe a person in admissions could give me a better idea. Anyone have any insight?

This is a common experience in applying to law school. No one gets their decisions as soon as they'd like. A month is not that long. I was "under review" for 3 months at one school.

Admissions offices get called all the time by anxious applicants. Don't be one of them.

Yes, don't be that guy who calls after being complete for only one month. You could potentially be waiting 4 more months until April, or even later if you're waitlisted.
