Top Law Schools

So I'm graduating in a week and a half and have caught senioritis. I really don't feel like studying for this kinetics test I have on Thurs yuck. If for some reason this cycle doesn't turn out the way I hope, and I reapply next year, would getting a B in this class and dropping my GPA by 0.02 really hurt my application that much?

There's no practical difference between a 3.94 and 3.92, you're still above every law school's GPA median. Plus you have, what, 2 other B's on your transcript? You'll be fine.

No. It won't hurt you.

On another note, you may want to find some kind of outlet to help you relax.

ETA: why wouldn't your cycle work out? Is your LSAT really hideous or something? With that GPA anything above 160 is going to get you into T1s, and $$$ at T2s.

Relax. You might not get T6 unless you are URM or have actually good softs (ie. nobel peace prize), but you will do great anywhere else you choose to apply. Probably with $$$ in the T1 even.

Take a day or two off... and then study for your test, secure in the knowledge it won't make one bit of difference to your cycle (assuming you have already applied, of course).

I didn't realize you had already applied. Still if you don't reach you goal schools and reapply a later cycle, .02 can make the difference between summa and magna cum lade which actually might make a difference at the margins. I fell from a 3.97 to a 3.93 last year and my imputed class rank on my LSAC report went from top 1% to top 3%. Idk if they really care about that but they might.
