Does applying later in the process have a very big impact?

I submitted mine today to fourteen schools. I know this isn't that late so I'm not worried, but just wondering.

Which 14 and how strong are your numbers relative to their admissions standards? It makes a bigger difference at some schools than others.

If you are auto-admit, you can apply anytime. Someone on these boards applied to Chicago a month after the deadline with a 4.0/173 and was accepted. If you have numbers around median or above, you should apply on time, meaning around a month ago to now. If you are reach, asap, preferably in Sept. If you are splitter too, apply asap, usually Sept-Oct.

Oops, I meant 13 not 14. I applied to all of T14 except UVA& Georgetown, and UCLA.
From my own list (just think T14 minus UVA and Georgetown, and add UCLA)
Top 4 high reaches.
5-9 or so would be reaches/fits.
10-13 I'll probably get in.
@ dissonance1848: Whoa, Sept!? That blows my mind. I didn't realize anyone applied that early to reaches.

+1, although because of the late LSAT score, she ended up enrolling even though she had HYS numbers.
