Top Law Schools

I took a year off after graduating from undergrad and taking lsat/applying to law school and my problem is that on some applications they ask if theres been any extended time(6months above) taken off from highschool to applying to law school. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to answer this question without looking bad. thanks

Did you do anything other than study for the LSAT? You can try to stretch the most menial of jobs/volunteer work into something you "did" between undergrad and law school...

Law schools probably do realize that the job market is still abysmal so don't worry about looking TOO bad.
