hello,
Am finally submitting my apps today, thank god, but am confused about how to sign something electronically. Most of the schools just ask you to submit the app, but some, like GW, also ask you to sign it electronically but have no space to type my name. Does this just mean submit it? Thanks. Sorry if this is the stupidest post ever lol.

Just type in the date. The fine print in the application states that submitting the application online is as good as signing.

+1
You only need to write in your name if there's a space that lets you. And even then it may be optional.

when you go to the checkout section on lsac, you have to click on a box that states that once you proceede to the next screen ( and type in your credit card info) your application is signed, and sealed, and you cannot make any changes to it. Thats LSAC's way of signing the application for you.
If you have to do any supplimental parts of the application- follow the directions. Some forms you can send electronically (and you dont have to sign), while others you have to print out and sign and mail. Make sure to check this out Before you click on the box at the end.
