Re: Report that you've had DL suspended?
The safest way to play it is to report it; personally, I would go based off the language of individual applications. If they only ask for misdemeanors, then report just that. If they ask for traffic violations+ misdemeanors, then personally, I would consider NOT reporting because a suspended driver's license is neither a misdemeanor nor a traffic violation per se.

Re: Report that you've had DL suspended?
Was this a direct outcome of a speeding ticket ( ex. going 75 in a 35?) Or just the result of one too many? If its the former, then you should explain. If its the later, dont bother.

At first I thought this was a joke, but apparently not, huh? You have seriously got to be kidding me. Report traffic violations on a application to law school? Kind of overkill, no?Jeez.

Some schools do specifically ask you to report traffic violations on their applications.Diiizzzzoooo wrote:At first I thought this was a joke, but apparently not, huh? You have seriously got to be kidding me. Report traffic violations on a application to law school? Kind of overkill, no?Jeez.

But IMO, they really don't hurt u unless its something serious like a DUI.LSpleaseee wrote:Some schools do specifically ask you to report traffic violations on their applications.Diiizzzzoooo wrote:At first I thought this was a joke, but apparently not, huh? I agree they really don't hurt you. It's for C&F purposes where you'll have to disclose everything and they compare your LS apps to your C&F app. I don't even think a DUI will really make much of a difference.icouldbuyu wrote:But IMO, they really don't hurt u unless its something serious like a DUI.LSpleaseee wrote:Some schools do specifically ask you to report traffic violations on their applications.Diiizzzzoooo wrote:At first I thought this was a joke, but apparently not, huh? Disclose it as a consequence of traffic infractions (if they ask for that). If it was the result of a misdemeanor or felony, definitely disclose.
Only if they tell you not to disclose do you not disclose.
