Top Law Schools

American University does not ask for a diversity statement. My personal statement does not reference me being an AA male at all. What would you advise?

I sent in my diversity state to AU anyway, and they didn't seem to mind...

Mine is pretty long. How long was yours? I'm looking at about 3 pages on top of a 3 page personal statement.

Oh man, that may be too long. Mine is a little bit more than a page.

I think the rule of thumb is 1.5 pages, but definitely shorter than your PS

Does it not ask for this information as part of the application? I believe it does.

I just dont see why you have to write one...they will know your race based on your answer to the application question...if anything else is needed it would seem one would only need the most minimal of a statement.
