Wrong forum section, but I would apply from Berkeley down until you are really hitting safeties.

ED at UVA may be a good way to go.

+1.

Though if you retake and get a 170+ you may arguably be better of waiting till next cycle.

My resume is pretty impressive, and for what it's worth, professors have told me my statement was the best they had ever seen. I really didn't want to risk waiting around for the December LSAT, and applying next cycle really isn't an option. If I don't enroll as a full-time student straight from undergrad I'll be booted off my parents health insurance plan, and this is quite problematic insofar as I am a Type-1 diabetic.

Unless you're older than 26, I think you can thank the Democratic Party for this no longer being an issue. Part of ACA is that people can stay on their parents' healthcare plans until then. I might be wrong about that however.

With a 3.98 you should be able to find a job with health insurance if don't get in. That way you could retake in Feb to give yourself more time to prepare if Dec is out of the question.

Not to be a dick or inquire about your personal situation, but I think you can keep your parent's insurance till you're 26.

I can't get back on one for my duration of law school if I would do that though, not one that would cover prescriptions to the extent that I need them to be. Besides, with my oh so un-marketable Political Science/Theology Double Major, I'm a bit screwed for jobs lol

Only if you go straight through as a full-time student. I've checked.

LOL @ a 3.98 getting OP a job. I have yet to encounter an employer who cared about my 4.0.

Well that sucks. Law school predictor doesn't look to bas for you but I'd check LSN for unofficial LSAT floors. You should probably blanket Berkeley and down and ride any WL you get. That way if you retook in Feb maybe you get get a boost of the WL.

Lol true. I figure they at least see it on a resume and it does help for gov't jobs and maybe quantitative heavy jobs.
