Depends on the wording of the application you're filling out. If it says something along the lines of "anything but speeding and non-moving violations," then yes, it's a traffic offense.WithoutMe wrote:Is getting a ticket a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt considered a traffic offense?
Not sure how to answer that. Might want to put a call in to the admissions office wherever you're applying.WithoutMe wrote:do we have to include the date because I have no clue when this occured

You do not need to disclose getting a ticket for not wearing your seatbelt.WithoutMe wrote:?????2011Law wrote:Are you honestly unsure of whether or not a law school needs to know if you got caught not wearing your seatbelt? False. If the application says you must disclose the ticket, then you must disclose it. Still no reason to wish someone get caught illegally downloading pron. You might also want to use the search function about the daylight savings time.2011Law wrote:You do not need to disclose getting a ticket for not wearing your seatbelt.WithoutMe wrote:?????2011Law wrote:Are you honestly unsure of whether or not a law school needs to know if you got caught not wearing your seatbelt? Also, anyone else notice TLS is still on daylight savings time?
Which schools would care to know that kind of stuff? Has anyone ever failed to disclose a ticket and had ANY consequences as a result?patrickd139 wrote:False. It has less to do with what the school views as a negative aspect as what the C&F board will examine when you fill out your bar application. If you don't include one or the other when the application requires you to, and then it shows up on your thorough, comprehensive background check at bar application time, then that's a red flag. It's not necessarily going to sink you with the C&F board, but red flags are generally bad.jacketman03 wrote:Similar question here, I've received two tickets in my life, the first one was a $50 one for no insurance that I paid, and the second one was for speeding, but I did defensive driving and so far as I know it's not even included in my driving record, so will I need to include either/both of these?
Thanks in advance
