well I wouldn't have answered if I had known what it was but I get calls from random area codes for work so I always answer.

Oh yeah that sucks then... They called me once and I missed it but they left a message, and then they called again but I recognized the # from the first time they called and just ignored it.

The very fact that they were forcing this guy to make these calls, makes me not want to go there.

Yeah, I once got a call from a TTT student. Humored him for a minute or 2. After Cooley sent me a mailing, I was afraid I'd get a Cooley student calling me as well. Luckily that didn't happen. I didn't trust myself enough to not chuckle when the poor guy/girl says he goes to Cooley. I'm not an elitist, I swear. In fact I snub my nose at such people...

No man, the whole thing was just awkward. I'm eating a sandwich and this guy calls me up. "Hi I'm a 2L from xyz law school."

And I immediately think to myself, "Oh shit, you are totally fucked."

He said he was getting a bunch of scholarship money from them. I just thought it was weak as hell they're making him call people, because of it. I'm sure half the people aren't nearly as nice as me.

and if you are a student, you should not be doing them for your school. thats not a part of your responsibility

any school that makes students cold call, is not a reputable school at all

This is a new strategy...I only ever got calls from schools where I was in, or where they were trying to gauge my actual interest in attending a school I applied to.

Did you ask her what she wanted to do? The only law fields done hiring, or who have really even started hiring, are firms. For all you know you're making fun of someone who wants to be a public defender or something.

I asked, but this was almost a year ago, so I'm not sure exactly, but not PI. And don't get me wrong, I'm not making fun of this girl. It could happen to anyone.
