Two LORs from same job?

I have two LORs from the same job and one from a former professor. I was planning on using one from the job and one from the professor for all of my apps, but I see now that some schools recommend three letters. Should I just submit two letters, or send all three? The ones from the same job probably don't say much that's substantively different.

If they say pretty much the same thing you should probably go with just 2.

To clarify, I don't know what they say. I just assume they say similar things since I didn't do particularly different things for the two people.

I've used three from the same job and it hasn't been a problem yet...

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I think it depends on what your other options are.

Personally, I'm using 3 LORs from my current job. One is my former supervisor/current department director, one is my former director who left this summer, and one is the director of a different department, with whom I serve on two committees. The 3rd guy wrote a school-specific LOR, however, so I'm only using his once. (Bummer, b/c it's great.)

I've been here almost 4 years, so if I went to my previous job and asked for LORs from my bosses there, they'd really have to scrape their memories for anything much to write. And I'm 8 years out of UG, so there's no way I'm going to find a professor who remembers me.
