ED two schools?

So, is this kind of move possible:

Apply ED to UVA and ED to another school at the same time. I think UVA is the only school that tells you in 15 days and other schools (like Michigan or Georgetown) all say "mid-December." If you get into UVA, can you call up the other school and withdraw your application even though you applied ED?

No, you can't do it at the same time. But you can ED one school first and if they say no then ED another (usually UVA since the deadline would have passed for the others).

+1. You'd have to ED to Michigan first, then ED to UVA if rejected from Michigan.

I'd just like to clarify for the benefit of the OP, you don't actually have to get "rejected" to ED to another school, anything short of an acceptance will do.

Note that you can also submit non-binding EA applications while having an open ED application.

You could do that but they'll talk if one accepts you and then they'll rescind you at BOTH.
