Softs?

what exactly are things considered "softs" and how much do these count of admittance?

Basically any experience you've had outside the classroom.

They don't make much of a difference unless 1) you did something amazing or 2) you have 2 years WE (Northwestern).

So one shouldn't worry much if they don't have a ton of work in the last couple years or any leadership experience in clubs?

Generic clubs don't really make a difference, and unless you did something significant in a leadership position, it likely won't matter much, either. Meaningful work experience makes a difference for some schools, under certain conditions. Having it makes a difference in OCI, from what I've heard (0L here).
