LSAT addendum (absence, 167, 174 - necessary?)

As a senior at XXXXXXXX I registered for and considered taking the LSAT but decided that I was not ready to attend law school and decided not take the test - I later found out that I had received an absence. In June of this year I took the test and received a 167. Prior to that test I did not have as much time to prepare as I would have liked due to the demands of several major projects at my job and also had difficulty sleeping the night before the test. On test day I made a mistake in analyzing directions on a logic game which cost me several questions. In October I retook the LSAT and received a 174 which I believe is more reflective of my pretest average and my ability.

Honestly I hate doing this - it just feels like making excuses. The above is the truth though - in College I registered but I just knew I wasn't ready and really wasn't fully informed about the whole process - I was very upset to get an absence on my record.
In June I worked an 80 hour week the week before the LSAT (def not by choice) and was nervous the night before and slept about two hours. All went well (missed 3 between both LR and RC) except on LG where I completely miswrote a rule and took longer then I should have to realize it - so I got -10 on LG. Went back and took it again and did what I always believed I could and had done on many practice tests. I want to be honest here and not whiney. I would just let my scores speak for themselves but I saw in so many of the Dean's interviews on TLS them encouraging addenda to explain score discrepancies.
Thoughts?
