I read through the older threads and saw reports of the fax being posted, however, could not find out whether anyone was successful this year? Has anyone faxed it in this year and how long did it take it to post if it was received?

One of my recommenders submitted his by fax last week. I think it took two or three days to process.

My boss faxed his on Tuesday afternoon. It was posted by Wednesday morning. He used the fax number that ends 444, I think. (I've seen two numbers floating around the TLS forums.)

My boss mailed hers twice, no luck. Finally faxed it, posted the next day.

I had my recommenders fax their letters and send them via priority mail. Can't say for sure which method processed first, but each letter was posted within 3 business days.

I had both of my LORs sent and faxed. They were both processed the same day they were faxed.

Excellent news, as i just asked a professor and i emailed him the form and the correct fax number ending in the 4's. Thank you for your responses, and good luck in the cycle.
