I had my transcripts from both my undergrad school and my grad school sent to LSAC ages ago, and they've been processed without any problems. In late September, however, I decided to enroll at a local community college to take a couple of economic classes for fun. Well, maybe not fun exactly, but I just decided to take them since I am only working part-time at the moment and have never taken an economics class in either high school or college.

For whatever reason, it has only just dawned on me that I could be in major trouble if I do not have these transcripts sent to LSAC. I have nothing to hide, so I'm happy to send them if need be, but I plan on having my applications submitted over the next couple of weeks and I'm worried that the process of contacting LSAC to have them amend my list of schools attended and then having the college send my transcripts to LSAC (which, incidentally, won't have any actual grades on them as the course won't be over until the start of December) will delay my application.

The LSAC website does not seem totally clear whether or not I need to send these--although I do suspect the answer to my question is that I do in fact need to send them. I finished my undergrad degree in 2008, so they definitely aren't part of my undergrad record. And I also finished grad school in June. I really just took these so I could feel like I was being productive and to have something else in my life that wasn't LSAT-law school related.

I'd like to call LSAC to ask them about this, but they are, of course, closed until Monday. Has anybody been in this situation before? Am I correct in thinking that I need to get the transcripts sent in? Thanks for the help!

Just apply , and send them once you have grades. Let LSAC/Schools know you are taking them on whatever form asks. Not a big deal.

You don't need to call LSAC in order to amend the schools you have attended (that's only if you need to delete a school). You can just go on your LSAC account and add the school and then have the transcripts sent asap. These transcripts will not affect your GPA since the classes were taken after you received your degree. Once you know the transcripts are on their way to LSAC you can apply to your schools worry-free. LSAC will receive your blank transcripts and do whatever they do with them and you can go on your merry way.
