Where is the best place to address and upward trend in UGPA? Is it best to include in personal statement or supp essay?

If you had a 1.2 after your first year, chances are you were on academic probation and chances are again that law schools will require an addendum if you were in fact on academic probation. This was the case for me, and this is where I addressed my upward trend. However, it was nothing out of the ordinary - originally a science major, did poorly, decided it wasn't for me, blah blah blah. Schools require you to explain your academic probation, but if it is a story they have heard a hundred times, try to keep it short and sweet.spb2822 wrote:It's pretty significant. 1.2 after 1st yr. and finished cum UGPA 3.1 and then a grad gpa of 4.0.
