if someone applies ED, what are the chances of scholarship money? significantly less at least, right? or does it not (i hope) work that way?

Less, if any, I understand. University of Cincinnati states "Those applicants for whom institutional financial aid is a prerequisite should apply instead under the regular admissions process." But then again, in-state tuition is only 19k. Not sure about other schools though, but in general I imagine less because you are likely below the median.

John Travolta is correct. By ED'ing, youre giving the school all the power. Youre giving them the ball. Youre bending over for them. Get it?

However, you can always really beg.

Unless a school specifically gives scholarships to ED people, money when you ED is unlikely. Thnk about it: if you need to ED because of your numbers, your numbers are probably not good enough for money.

Money is a way to entice applicants who would not pay sticker to come to your school. If you are committed to paying sticker, no reason to give you money.
