Retaking LSAT to transfer

I'm sure people have asked this before, but I saw nothing, so screw it:

If I go for a year to a T2 and bump my LSAT up a few points after I've been there, is that taken into consideration in the transfer process? Or am I pretty much stuck with what I've got before I become a 1L?

There was at least one person at my LSAT administration taking it to make transferring more likely. I'm sure it can't hurt, but your 1L grades will be by far the most important.

It won't make transferring more likely and is a TOTAL waste of time, energy, and money. Focus on 1L grades and getting good recommendations.

Same Question as OP,

Does taking the LSAT for a few point boost have a positive impact on transfer applications? Isnt it all still a big numbers game?

No impact. I've read somewhere that they've even said LSAT doesn't really matter since it's just used to predict law school performance, which you've already shown through 1L grades. Please do not take the LSAT again.

LSAT doesn't matter for transfers, and also you can't take it after matriculating in law school.

Speaking as someone who has transferred, retaking the exam for transfer purposes is a complete waste of time.
