On my law school report, i see that there is a section for index and that is followed by a number. The number seems to change slightly depending on the school. Does anyone know what it represents; as i believe it has something to do with your LSAT score.

Most law schools submit a formula for how they index students by numbers. They assign a multiplier to UGPA and another to your LSAT and add a constant. This number is the index score. Schools use them different ways. Some may auto reject or accept people with a certain index score. The difference in the numbers is because schools weight lsat and ugpa differently.
