What top 14 schools have the highest or average LSAT policy? Forum

So, this thread has been really helpful to me to, and I don't want to high-jack it...but....do me!!!! I am a three-timer (ouch): 1) 162 (swine flu), 2) 165 (transcription error=-6), 3) 170 (fucked up games, which I never do).
So, I have a 166 average and a 170 high to go with my 3.88 GPA, 1 year awesome work experience, and good softs (tri-lingual, strong PS, varsity athlete, etc). Non-URM

So, that's me. I EDed to NYU even though I know the chances are long with the 3 LSATs, because they are very strong for what I want (International law in DC, NY, or Boston). Also considering applying to Chicago, Berkeley, Penn, NW, Cornell, and Georgetown. (UVA, Duke, Michigan for scholarship negotiation if I don't get NYU...fee waivered.)

So, in short 170 (166 average) and 3.88

If you write a convincing addendum, I say you're odds are a bit over 50/50 IF you ED and you're app is in ASAP. If I had to put money down with those circumstances, it would be on accept. But I wouldn't put a load of money down.

They do, but there's a great deal of people with this applicants numbers (3.88, 170) who got in last year after applying early and I somehow doubt they were ALL single-takers. Hence, if he can convince them with an addendum to ignore the other two, or at least the first, I could see NYU taking the GPA bait for their medians. But maybe I'm being optimistic.

Yeah. I kind of put myself in the 40-60% range. I applied Monday and did use an addendum. Kept it really short and sweet. My PS has gotten really good feedback, and I think my softs are unique/interesting/strong. Hoping that puts me over the hump...if not, I will take my lower t-14 (Georgetown, I'm looking at you...also Berkeley, Penn, and NW) money (hopefully) and be thrilled with it.
