Has anyone who applied for BC received their username or password for the status checker?

If I haven't received it, should I be proactive about getting it or just be patient?

I applied like a week ago and haven't gotten so much as a confirmation that they got it. I'd wait a bit longer.

I applied to BC pretty much when they first started accepting applications. I have yet to get any e-mail confirmation from them on anything. I called a couple weeks ago and the admissions office confirmed that they did receive my stuff. GW was the same way for a while, and out of nowhere I got an e-mail saying I my app was complete. I'd recommend calling just to have the peace of mind that they do have your materials.
