Cornell Early Action

I'm really sorry if this question has been asked before. I'm applying to Cornell's early action (last min decision after underperforming on the LSAT). The deadline to submit is Nov 1st. Can I submit the application form now and upload my personal and diversity statements and resume later, before the file complete deadline (Nov 15th)? Or do all these additional documents have to be sent with the application?

The PS/DS/resume are submitted with the application. If you're complete by Nov. 15 you'll be considered EA.

Pretty sure you have to submit app+PS+DS (optional) +Resume by tonight.
LORs/LSAT scores and other things that are sent to LSAC can be "updated" by Nov 15.

So since I submitted on LSAC.org on Halloween, I should be set, even if I'm not LSAC complete yet for some reason? (All my other apps are).

Does EA increase your chances of getting admitted with lower scores?

I think applying early helps in general but I don't think EA helps any more than just applying early.

No, it won't change their judging criteria. I'm only doing it so that I can have some peace of mind by December knowing the status of my application at one school at least.

And since I'm fixing my diversity statement still...looks like I might end up not doing it at all.
It's probably a better idea to submit later in the week but submit a solid application, vs rushing today. AAAhhhh. So nervous!

Ya me too! Do you guys know how poorly you need to finish out your last year of undergrad for an acceptance to be revoked?

Seriously? I think you would be fine even if you got straight Ds... Don't they only revoke if you fail out or something??

You just need to graduate on time as expected.

Thanks. I was just a little worried because my friend had a nightmare experience with a med school this summer. She received a C in a summer course and the med school revoked her acceptance two weeks before the first semester was to begin. She sued and won, but ended up going elsewhere because she felt alienated.

When do you hear back for early action? I applied EA, because it sounded good. Don't have any idea what it means practically for my application though.

My application is very strong otherwise, but I'm wondering how much this will hurt me and what I can do to fix this?? Any advice, help, greatly appreciated!!!!
Not filling out Why Cornell shouldn't hurt you.

Our admissions office is extremely nice and helpful. Don't hesitate to give them a call and explain your problem. There is no doubt in my mind that they will offer some sort of solution, especially since your mistake seems truly accidental.

If you want to add it, just call admissions and let them know you inadvertently left it out. Ask if you can add it in a supplemental addendum?

I submitted my application one minute late since I did not keep the time zones in mind. So I submitted it at 11:00 pm CST, November 1; after checking out I saw the time-stamp: 12:00 am EST, November 2
Stupid stupid stupid me

The Nov. 1 "deadline" doesn't matter:
"Please note, any application complete as of November 15, 2010, will be considered for our early action process."
