Should I put high school graduation speaker on my resume?

Would like to know if you think putting this on my resume could harm or help my application. My high school ranked us by decile, and there were try outs for graduation speaker (so it's not the same as valedictorian).

High school activities/accomplishments are not going to be highly regarded because adcomms will assume that you have done nothing that merits mentioning in the last four years.

Nope. If you don't list any high school things, then by default they will often assume you did more in college than you had room to list. If you list high school things they will be likely to assume that you ran out of college activities to talk about and had to resort to high school.
